Hoarders Anonymous

July 11, 2012 by Jeann @ Happy Indulgence | Reflections

Hello, my name’s Jeann and I’m a hoarder. I love collecting things of all kinds that interest me, such as perfume, bath & body products, games, and books. While I enjoy these happy indulgences when they arrive in the mail, or when I put it on display, there comes a point in time where I get stressed out with having so many things that I start giving things away, or getting rid of them.

As the nature of addiction goes, once I get rid of things and clear some space, I start to get the impulse to buy something again.Β It’s an endless cycle, such is the circle of life.

While I know I have a “slight” addiction to online shopping (Paypal called me to personally thank me for continually using their services, and I now receive their VIP customers email), I somehow feel that my over-indulgence is justified. I use my own money to buy what I want, I’m not in debt, I can pay my bills and save, and most importantly of all, I enjoy it. After all, that’s the reason why you work, right? Better that I enjoy these things while I’m young, and able to.

As I begin a completely new blog and start afresh, I’d like to dedicate this blog to all the things that I love. I’m going to be reviewing some of my favourite etailer and perfume companies, talking about games that I play, and posting my thoughts on some of the books that I like to read. I know I’ve got a range of diverse interests, and this blog will be about my gaming life, my reading life, and my perfume life. I don’t need to post about my love of food because well, we’d be here all day if I did that.

For my next few posts, I’ll post a different introduction of each of my interests and how they came about. Stay tuned and happy reading!
