The winner of the Happy Indulgence’s 1 year blogoversary giveaway is Desnica K! Congratulations, you have been sent a $15 Amazon gift card!
Thanks everyone for all of your lovely comments about what you like most about Happy Indulgence. Based on your feedback, I’m going to make sure my book reviews are the predominant feature on my blog.
I’ve been thinking a lot about my blogging responsibilities since the blogoversary. While there are millions of blogs out there, what is my obligation to you as a blogger?
Here’s what you can expect from Happy Indulgence:
- Honest reviews
- Detailed reviews that don’t contain major spoilers
- A full report on my thoughts and feelings on the book, rather than just another book summary
- Fresh, new content – updating 2-3 times a week
- Focus on the latest and greatest YA/NA/adult books – including indie books
I have decided to scale down my blog tour responsibilities and focus on reading and reviewing my massive backlog of books. Sometimes I’ve found myself caught out with blog tours, needing to review a book and then realising that I couldn’t promote the book cos I just didn’t enjoy it. That’s my commitment to all of my readers, that all the books featured here feature my full and honest opinion on whether I enjoyed it or not, which will hopefully help in picking out the books that you read.
I absolutely LOVE hearing from you so don’t be afraid to comment on anything that comes up! Enjoy everyone and hope you enjoy my next year of blogging!
Speaking of winning I have won several giveaways lately which I am excited about! This usually never happens to me!
I have won:

Left Drowning by Jessica Park from The Eater of Books July New Release Giveaway

PAX Australia – By the way, I went to PAX Australia 2 weekends ago. It’s a gaming expo that has been in the US for years and the first time it visited Australia. I had the best weekend ever! Check out my article here on the rundown on my experiences.
