I missed StS last week so this one combines the last 2 weeks worth of books. Hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, Stacking the Shelves is about sharing your book hauls for the week.
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green – I was stalking my local bookstore for the Australian version of this hardback. Isn’t it the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen? If you take off the jacket it looks really cool too with the turquoise cover. I recently read this and like everyone, was bawling at the ending. My review will be going live soon!
Thank you to Random House Australia, Walker Books and Text Publishing for these review copies!
Teardrop by Lauren Kate – I just love the amazing cover for this one, what do you guys think? A really unique premise, hopefully it holds up.
Zac and Mia by A.J. Betts – These heart breaking YA contemporaries have been on my radar lately, and I’ve heard good things about this cancer read!
The Accident by Kate Hendrick – I’ve heard the writing for this is beautiful, and the pivotal moment changing your life appeals to me.
Two Boys Kissing by David Levithan – This will be my first GLBT read but I’ve heard this one is relevant, beautiful and packs a punch in its short length. Random comment, but I just realised its David Levithan, not David Leviathan. LOL too much Supernatural for me!
More Than This by Patrick Ness – This book caught my eye at the book store and I had to get my hands on it. The blurb sounds incredibly enticing and it will be an intense read that I can’t wait to pick up!
Review copies – eBooks
I received these ones from Netgalley. Trying to be good and only requesting the ones that really interest me. Thanks to Harlequin TEEN, Marjolie DeLuca and Flux for these e-ARCs!
Pawn by Aimee Carter – Looks like a next big dystopian and you know how much I love my dystopians.
Crystal Fire – Look at that amazing cover! This is about psychics and sounds awesome. I didn’t realise it was a 2nd in the series though, so will have to hunt down the 1st book!
The Forever Ones by Marjorie DeLuca – I spotted this one on a blog a while back and thought the premise was totally up my alley, and the cover is absolutely beautiful!
The Drowned Forest by Kristopher Reisz – This one looks like a creepy read. I actually requested this one months ago and this is the first time I’ve been accepted by Flux books but I’m excited!
Waterfell – I just love this cover as well, I’m totally attracted to cool covers lol. This sounds like a good teen romance, sort of like The Little Mermaid.
What did you add to your shelves this week?
