Indulgence Insider is my version of Stacking the Shelves and the Sunday Post, bringing you this week’s haul, bookish news and discussion posts from around the blogosphere!
I’ve had quite a busy few weeks at work lately and haven’t been able to be as active with visiting blogs and commenting, but I’ve been trying my best to catch up on the weekends. Most of my posts have been scheduled these days. Thanks for being patient with me on the commenting side of things and returning the favour. The discussion post section will be back next time!
Review copies – physical
Cooper Bartholomew is Dead by Rebecca James – I have loved every single book Rebecca James has written, she writes really excellent YA psychological thrillers so I was really excited to receive a review copy of this! I’ll be participating in the blog tour coming up soon.
Silver Shadows by Richelle Mead (Bloodlines #5) – I’ve heard there’s lots of hot Sydrian moments in this one and I can’t wait, especially after the events of the last book! I don’t know what is up with these fake looking covers though lol.
A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray – I love sci-fi YA and this one looks awesome.
Thank you to Penguin Australia, Harper Collins Australia and Allen and Unwin for sending me these review copies.
Review copies – digital
Lost & Found by Brooke Davis – This has been getting a lot of hype lately in Australian bookstores, was so surprised when I got accepted for an eARC on Netgalley.
50 Shades of Gray trailer was released this week and I don’t know why but it feels like a horror movie. I guess Christian wasn’t really what I expected, but I really like the music though.
Brisbane Writers Festival Program is out and it’s jammed packed full of YA authors this time, including Laini Taylor, Diana Sweeney, A.J. Betts, Sean Williams, Isobelle Carmody, Amie Kaufman and more! The Love YA Festival presented at the Brisbane Libraries will be free. Definitely a lot of reading I need to catch up on beforehand.
The Aussie YA Bloggers August Newsletter will be released soon, make sure you’ve signed up to receive the latest version on the 1st of August.
