Indulgence Insider is our version of Stacking the Shelves and the Sunday Post, bringing you this week’s haul, bookish news and discussion posts from around the blogosphere!

I haven’t had an Indulgence Insider for a few weeks now, wanted to put one up last week but my internet was down all weekend. I finally got a $10 gift card from Amazon Associates, after 2.5 years of blogging lol. Thank you to everyone who clicks the Amazon link to purchase when reading the reviews! I really appreciate it.

Here’s my new bookshelf you’ve all been asking for…it took me a while to decide whether I wanted to put books or figurines in there, so I ended up with both.

Hope everyone had a lovely Valentines day! I started a new tag on Instagram called #bookvalentine where you post a picture of a book heart. Feel free to participate in the hashtag fun! I took a break from the February Instagram challenge but I have been posting almost every day with a new tag. It’s a lot of fun and I’m just a little bit addicted.

  1. You have so many books, such very good ones ! And not only do you have the latest Sarah J. Maas, but you'll also have the possibility to actually meet her, you're so lucky ! Enjoy and have a great week 😉

  2. I only got a book in the mail this week, which is not odd give that I am on a book buying ban! But I have some preorders coming, that I hope I'll get them in the mail next week!

  3. You got a lot of amazing books. I like your creativity when it comes to making Book Hearts. Mime Order looks fantastic. Hope you enjoy it.

  4. You got some awesome books this week. A court of thorns and roses is amazing and HOT 😀 Red Queen is a very promising start of a new series. I love Blue Lily, Lily Blue (the last book is going to shatter me) and The mime order was so much better than The bone season if you ask me. The covers from End of Days and Ten Thousand skies above you *drools*

    Happy reading!

    • I can't wait to read it finally Mel, it's pretty awesome so far! Glad to hear you loved The Mime Order, because I really loved The Bone Season already.

  5. AHH! You got so many good books, and I'm particularly excited for Red Queen, All Fall Down, and The Honest Truth. And maybe ACOTAR. I'm kind of on the fence about that one right now because it seems more NA-ish. I love all the swag that the publicists have been sending to book bloggers, though. Yay! Thanks for linking to my blog! Ten Thousand Skies Above You and A Thousand Pieces of You both have some of the most beautiful covers I have ever seen. Claudia Gray is such a lucky author!

    • The swag has been truly amazing for ACOTAR! I know, she has gotten some pretty amazing covers, they are a work of art! I'll let you know what I think of ACOTAR when I finish it.

  6. Yay fo Thrive by Krista and Becca Ritchie! I absolutely adore their Addicted series. Hope you will love it 🙂

And I am still fangirling over covers for Morning Son and End of Days. They are so so gorgeous. I cannot wait until those books are released, I am sure covers will be even more spectacular in print.
My recent post STACKING THE SHELVES: February 2015

    • I know, I can't believe I'm almost to the end! I've really blasted through the series lately. I love the simplicity in End of Days, I love how all the books look together.

  7. I love your new shelf, Jeann! And it's nice that you have both books and figurines in it – very well balanced that way.

You got an amazing haul to share, I hope you'll enjoy all your new books. I know that squeeing sensation when you suddenly get books you've been excited about – it's one of the really good parts of blogging.

I haven't seen 50 Shades, and I don't think I will. I haven't read the books either, but I do have the pdf from when it was fanfic, and I tried reading that – but it didn't really work for me.

Have a fantastic week, happy reading.

    • Thanks Lexxie, this is more of a display shelf more than everything! IT's really excited getting those books we've been waiting for hehe. Yeah, I'm not going to go see it either, it's disturbing the themes of emotional abuse in it.

  8. Faye M.

Haha, those Amazon thingies never gave me anything but 50 cents! I don't think I'll be receiving any cheques or gift card anytime soon. I don't mind, that kind of stuff is really second to everything else. I hope you have a great time with Sarah Maas! She's so pretty and so talented; it would be an honor for me if I could meet her someday.

  10. ALL THE BOOOOOOKS! I hope you had a brilliant V-Day at your wedding Jeann, you looked absolutely stunning. :3 :3 Yesss to the Mime Order and ACOTAR. SO SO SO SO SOOOOO GOOOD. I'm still slightly hungover from it hehe. I think Alana couldn't finished A Small Madness because of its themes, keen to hear what you thought of it 🙂 Have a lovely week filled with bookish awesome! xx

    • Thank you lovely, it was a really romantic wedding! I'm excited about ACOTAR, reading it at the moment and it's pretty good! Yeah, a Small Madness was a super tough read.

  11. inlibrisveritas

Your new shelf looks great! So many Funko figures! I have the Mime Order to read, I won it in a giveaway but haven't had the chance to pick it up (plus I need a recap of The Bone Season first). I love the book heart tag you made! I don't think I have enough of one color to make one, but since I might have a mini vacation due to bad weather I'll see if I can put one together.

    • Thanks Michelle, I do love my figurines hehe. Now I have somewhere to store them, because they were crowding up my other bookshelves beforehand. YAY for winning The Mime Order, I hope you pick up the first one!

  12. My goodness. ALL. THE. BOOKS! So many brilliant titles there!

That bookshelf, I have one of those cubed ones too, but mine is upright and I just use mine for storage in my foyer, hidden behind a door. They're so handy. I bought seagrass baskets form mine though to hide things away. It looks gorgeous with those Penguins on there. I'm swooning my ass off.

Have a lovely week of reading poppet <3
My recent post Where Things Come Back by John Corey Whaley

    • I know, pretty crazy right? This is what happens when I don't post these for a while! Mannn I was super happy with the cubed one, they are freaking amazing and so versatile. Thanks lovely!

LOOK AT THOSE AMAZING BOOKS. How are you finding ACOTAR? I've heard wonderful things about it so far so I hope you enjoy it. Shame you thought Red Queen was disappointing–though I suppose with all that hype that surrounded it, it must be hard to live up to all those expectations. xD Still on the fence as to whether I should buy that one or not! Hope you have a great week to come. 🙂
My recent post Sunday Weekly Up (49) & A Very Stiefvater Stacking the Shelves (30)

    • I'm really enjoying it at the moment, a big thing doesn't make sense though but I hope it all wraps up together! My Red Queen post is going up tomorrow, definitely had my expectations sky high.

  14. As much as I'm freakingy excited for the Red Rising movie…I'm not a fan of Morning Star's cover. :O Hopefully, I'll warm up to it. XD afjdlakds I'm so excited for the All the Bright Places movie. A.k.a I'm sure I'm going to bawl. Even this vulcan won't withstand that. :'(
I have Havoc too and, eh, I don't know what to do! My library doesn't have book 1 I don't think and I'm not about to go buy it, but I feel bad if I don't read it!
My recent post Valentine’s Day Quiz: Who Said That?

    • Awwww, I bet it'd look better in print! I wonder what it's about though. YES to All the Bright Places. You are pretty good with that sort of stuff. Did you cry in the TFIOS movie?
