This is a little overdue, but seeing as I’ve had a pretty rough month I’m finally getting around to putting this up.
I’ve been binge reading a lot of trilogies each month which is pretty satisfying and this month was Miss Peregrines in anticipation for the movie.
Unfortunately I wasn’t a big fan of the movie, here’s my thoughts on it!
Check out my wrap up video below for thoughts on the 11 books I read this book:

I did hear that MP is almost like a totally different story than the book. It's a shame, I'm curious why the author greenlighted it. Although if she gave up rights to it then she doesn't really have much of a say. Overall, that sucks balls!

Yeah, they pretty much sell the rights to the story and I guess the movie maker takes it from there. It\’s probably quite rare that the author retains control over how the story is told.
Damn it. Whenever I'm.on my Kindle, you post a video. I'll have to.come back for that. I've only read the first Miss Peregrine's and I absolutely loved it too. It's amazing how many similarities there are between Riggs and Mafi's styles of writing, they really seem.to influence and compliment one another. I want to see the movie desperately, but worried it'll be another Percy Jackson. It's so hard to translate that wonder and magic onto the screen. Here's to a better November and glad to see you're feeling better Jeann <3

Thank you Joy, I\’m definitely better now! YESSS I am here if you need for all your thoughts on EOS. It\’s sooo good! The second book in Miss Peregrines was my favourite 🙂 xx I hope you have a lovely month too!
Bummer you didn't like the movie, my 9 year old really wants to watch it. She has the book on hold at the library so I hope she likes both the book and the movie. I hope this week is a much better one for you!

I hope she enjoys it, the book would be perfect for her I reckon! It has that whimsical, adventurous feel about it. Thank you lovely!
I love how the list goes from awesome, stellar five stars down to a two star haha. 😀 Love that you did a binge of Miss Peregrine's! Maybe I'll do one myself if I can get the energy to pick up the first book again.
Bwahaha I much prefer raving to ranting as you know! Ahhh did you actually put down the first book? The writing isn\’t something I was used to but I ended up liking it.
