Giveaway & Celebration: 1 Year of Happy Co-Blogging

October 24, 2016 by Jeann @ Happy Indulgence | Co-Blogging, Features, Giveaways

coblogger-anniversary

Today is a special day! It’s been 1 year since Aila and Jenna has joined Happy Indulgence! I can’t believe it’s been a year already, that flew by really fast.

JeannI don’t know about you, but I think having both of them on the blog has been a burst of fresh air! I love Jenna’s in-depth reviews and her love for contemporary has added so many new books onto my shelf. Aila’s just a sparkling ball of sunlight and I love her sass and coverage of brand new released books! I’ve discovered so many great new books through Aila’s reviews before I’ve even heard of them. I’m so excited that I’ve gotten to hang out with Jenna a few times this year while visiting Sydney and in a few days she’ll be visiting me in Brisbane #happycloudfeels!

Aila*covers face* Guilty! I’m a super impatient reader so I’m always reading the latest books I can get my hands on haha. 😛 I can’t believe it’s been a year – I feel like it’s flown by so quick! It’s been so great blogging with Jeann and Jenna, especially with how they’ve broadened my OZYA book list. We cover such an eclectic range of books, I feel like I’m discovering another gem – or book to be missed – every week. Talking to them is also the brightest part of my day. They’re always there to fangirl with me about the latest heartbreaking release or keep me motivated with life in general! Bliss would be the perfect word to cover it, indeed.

JennaI totally agree with Jeann. Aila has put so many fantasy books on my radar. Most of the time, I haven’t even heard of the books that she’s read but it’s great to hear her talk about them anyway because I always end up picking them up when I see them at the store. Blogging on Happy Indulgence has developed my blogging and reviewing process so much. It’s made me more organised and it’s been fun interacting with lots of bloggers outside of the WordPress community that my own blog is part of. I also love working and chatting with Jeann and Aila so much. They inspire me to be better, especially when Aila schedules book reviews months and months ahead of time (errr… I’m still putting up reviews the night before haha).

Congratulations on the 1 year of co-blogging! I've been thinking about co-blogging opportunities with other book bloggers but I know it's not easy with individual work/study and life schedules. I love what you gals doing and appreciate the effort you put in the bookish community. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to see your 2nd anniversary post. 🙂

I think co-blogging is an interesng and fun idea. No doubt you are able to meet many awesome people and have a fantastic experience with them! It is an admirable thing, really. By the way, thanks for this opportunity! I've been wanting to dive into My Lady Jane for some time already!

  4. Awww congratulations, ladies!! That is so awesome, a whole year together! I keep thinking how great it would be to have a co-blogger, but I also think I would be an annoying person to blog with? I am like… wholly unorganized, and yet somehow still a control freak, so how would that work for actual humans? But I still toy with the idea! I am so glad it has worked so well for you all! Hoping for many more years of co-blogging happiness to come 😀

    • Lol, I got to a point where it was getting too difficult doing it on my own so it was definitely the right decision for me at the time. I definitely don\’t think I\’d be able to keep up with my blogging if it wasn\’t for Jenna and Aila! I\’m pretty organised as well and we have our set days so we\’re used to the routine now. Other than that I\’m pretty casual with other stuff 😛 I hope

  5. AWW YOU GUYS. This is so cute. Jeann, I love that you found amazing cobloggers this time around, because it seems like all three of you are having an awesome time! SO CONGRATS ON THE ONE YEAR CO-BLOGOVERSARY! Time flies doesn't it?
