    Hello Jeann,

I would love for you to review my book, Awakening to Life.

Awakening to Life is a young adult novel about a 16-year-old girl with terminal cancer. It was originally published on Wattpad, receiving over 9.7 million views. The story is similar to The Fault in Our Stars by John Green or A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks.

What people have said about Awakening to Life:
“Super, super, super great book! Had me crying like a little baby, and I never cry! I REALLY recommend!!!!!” — Em, Amazon
“This book will throw your heart in so many different directions.” — Elise Desveaux, Amazon

Awakening to Life has been rebranding and will be released on Amazon KDP on 30 April 2017. I would appreciate your review to help my spread the word, and any cross posting on Amazon or Goodreads. Please let me know if I can send you an e-copy.

    Warm regards,

    Caitlin Guy

  2. Hello, I've seen Jenna a little on Twitter, but I have only just stumbled on your site.

I am a fairly new romance author, however I hold an Associate Degree in Creative Writing, and I am currently studying publishing at Sydney University.

I will be speaking to the paranormal romance book club at Galaxy Books on 2 February (6-8pm) about my newest release Trelloran Seduction if you're interested. I'll also be giving away a copy, so if you're interested, you might be the one to get the freebie if you attend. 🙂

    Regards,

    Georgia.

    Good afternoon,

I hope you're all gearing up for a fun weekend!

I wanted to touch base, as I'm working with author L.A. Kelley in support of her YA adventure book Rimrider – a tale of piracy, romance and daring rebellion! I thought you may be interested since you previously participated in Sue Duff's virtual tour for The Weir Chronicles…

The story kicks off with teenager Jane Benedict is awakened by her father and ordered to memorize a mysterious code. Hours later, Mathias Benedict is dead and Jane and her brother, Will, are wards of United Earth Corporation. To evade the company's murderous clutches and uncover the meaning of her father's last message, Jane leads Will on a desperate escape across the galaxy aboard the Freetrader smuggler ship.

Tangled in the crew's fight against UEC, Jane saves the life of young smuggler Maclan Sawyer and learns her father's code identifies a secret cargo shipment that may spell doom for the entire Freetrader cause and the extinction of an alien race.

I'm hosting a Virtual Tour for the author November 14th-24th, and wondered if you might be interested with a review, interview, guest post or feature of some sort? The author will also be offering a giveaway throughout the tour, and we'd love your help in spreading the word for that, as well.

Let me know if you might be up for participating – I'd absolutely love to include you!

    Thanks so much,
    Sami

  5. Dear Jeann:

I am not certain if my novel falls within your review range, but I want that to be your decision and am inquiring to request a review of my novel, Revenants, The Odyssey Home: When a grief-stricken candy striper resolves to return home a nameless veteran of the Great War, she must overcome not only his reticence to reveal his past but the skullduggery of a local congressman who controls the hospital as part of his small-town political fiefdom.

Revenants is an 81,000-word coming-of-age retelling of Homer’s Odyssey about Betsy’s struggle to regain meaning in her life following her brother’s death in Viet Nam by returning home a war-disfigured patient the VA hospital has secreted away for fifty years. Hidden and forgotten. Almost. Because standing in her path is Congressman Hanna who knows her patient’s name. A name that if revealed would end his congressional career and destroy his marriage. Complicating Betsy’s struggle is her patient’s refusal to surrender his name. Yet he is compelled by his need for contrition to tell his story, dropping clues as to the boy he once was, about the girl he left behind, that Betsy must puzzle together before Hanna discovers she has learned his secret. While not an historical romance novel, a forbidden love, revealed near the end of Revenants, drives the plot. If I have piqued your interest, you can read the first two chapters on BookBuzzr by going to my website and scrolling down to the lower right-hand corner: http://www.scottkauffman.net.

I am the recipient of the 2010 Hackney Literary Award and the 2011 Mighty River Short Story Contest prize. My short fiction has appeared in Big Muddy, Adelaide Magazine, and Lascaux Review. My Goodreads link is: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28365348-revenants

Thank you for your consideration. I can make Revenants available to you by epub, NetGalley, or print. For whatever reason, my email will not allow me to insert my cover but you can view it at my goodreads link above.

    Sincerely,

    Scott Kauffman

BLURB: Fragnut. Confused? Well so is everyone else at Lumiere Hall Prep when sixteen-year-old Rubie Keane rolls in from Trinidad and Tobago talking her weird lingo. Not that she minds the culture confusion; she's determined to leave the past behind her and be overlooked—but a certain stoic blue blood is equally as determined to foil her plans.

Gil Stromeyer's offbeat personality initially makes Rubie second-guess his sanity, but she suspects his erratic outbursts of violence mask a deeper issue in his troubled, charmed life. Despite his disturbing behavior, a gradual bond forms between the two. However, on the night of the annual Stromeyer gala, events unfold that leave Rubie stripped of her dignity and kick Gil's already fragile world off its axis.

Both their well-kept secrets are uncovered, but Gil's revelation proves that sometimes the best remedy for a bad case of lost identity, is a dash of comradery from an ally packed with flavor.

It's a Coming-of-age Contemporary book and it's available for purchase on Amazon, Kobo, iBooks, Createspace and Barnes & Noble.

Thanks so much for your time!

    Hey There,
I love reading your perfume reviews! As a fellow Aussie and indie perfume lover I wondered if you could tell me how you get your Nocturne Alchemy as they won't ship to Aus?

  9. Hi Elizabeth, thanks for your heartfelt comment! I love hearing how people stumble upon my blog. I just love gaming and blogging, I gotta admit I haven't been writing much about games on here but every once in a while. Thanks for following Elizabeth, going to check out your blog now! Great to meet someone new who loves the same things.

  10. Hi Jeann!

I don't have anything of importance to say here, just a little fan mail!

I frieneded Rachel (TigerLilyRachel) on Goodreads and I stumbled on to your goodreads page, saw that we read some of the same books, and then I visited your blog. Bit a long story, but I absolutely love your blog! I'm a gamer too and I wish I had thought to incorporate books and games in one blog. So cool! Now following via bloglovin, instagram, twitter, and friended on Goodreads. (Ack, that sounds stalkerish. Haha.)
