She didn’t hesitate to open the door and step through it, just as she had thousands of times before.Only, this time, something unexpected happened.Something different.Something very, very strange.
Journey back to the world of Medora to follow Alexandra Jennings and her friends—and enemies—for one last adventure.
Spanning four years after the final book in Lynette Noni's #1 bestselling series The Medoran Chronicles, this is an epilogue like no other, full of laughter, tears, and above all, the unending power of friendship.
EMBRACE THE WONDER
It’s such a wonderful treat that we got an epilogue that we didn’t expect, and Kaldoras gave me all of the warm and fuzzy feelings! It definitely made me miss all of the characters of the Medoran Chronicles and it was so wonderful to see our favourite characters living their best lives.
It’s been a while since I’ve read the original series, but I didn’t need to recap it or anything as there’s enough here to jog the memory on what happened in the series.
Kaldoras is written in a short story format, similar to We Three Heroes as it provides different character perspectives. From new characters, to some old favourites including unexpected ones, I loved discovering who we were going to hear from and what they would encounter.
If you’re a fan of the Medoran Chronicles, Kaldoras provides a fluffy throwback to the series and might just make you want to reread it all again.
Rating: 5 out of 5
Thanks to Pantera Press for sending me a review copy! Kaldoras is available from Australian bookstores for RRP$22.99 or from Booktopia.
Hosting Lynette Noni’s Kaldoras Event
This month, I hosted Lynette Noni’s event at the Brisbane Writer’s Festival to talk about Kaldoras! We talked about all things writing, the highs and lows of writing an epilogue of a beloved series, and what she has coming up next.
Lynette talked about some beloved characters and how she loved giving them the ending that they deserved, and how she got to explore some happy endings for these characters.
She also has a new YA contemporary coming, along with a long fantasy series which we’re all very excited about!
A big thank you to Brisbane Writer’s Festival and Pantera Press for inviting me to host this event, along with all the wonderful readers who came along.
I also filmed an author Q&A which will go up on my Tiktok at some point, subscribe to see the video once it’s out!
