It’s another time for a monthly wrap up video! I only read three books this month because I was really busy and stressed this month.
May Wrap Up Video
With only three books this month, I thought my wrap up video was going to be short. But alas, I babbled on for longer LOL.

Life Update
Most of May was filled with weekend plans on both days. Most of it was wedding planning, but some of it was hanging out with friends and family, with a lot of birthdays going on.
I’ve learnt the best way to de-stress and get myself into a better mindset is to go to the gym, so I’ve been going a lot mainly during my lunch break at work. Nothing else beats that physical and mental stimulation.
We also had our engagement photoshoot, if you haven’t seen it already I posted some photos here!
We’ve also decided on our honeymoon which is going to be Hawaii! I’m so excited, I have always dreamed of going there. If you’ve been, let me know your travel tips below!
Books I read
Wayfarer by Alexandra Bracken– 3 stars – Review
Finding Nevo by Nevo Zisin– 5 stars
Always and Forever Lara Jean by Jenny Han – 5 stars
I also talked about two books I’m currently reading:
Miss Lily’s Lovely Ladies by Jackie French
Flame in the Mist by Renee Abdieh
Reviews to come!

I’m so excited for your wedding! (I know it’s not even mine and we’re not even close but still <33) Love the engagement pictures, and Hawaii is definitely a lovely place for a honeymoon!

Awww thank you so much Tasya! I’m excited myself, only three months to go omg!
Aw yay, Hawaii sounds so fun! Well, Hawaii IS fun. Do you know where you are going, which island(s), etc? We should chat 😀 Also, glad you liked Lara Jean and Nevo- and that you finally finished Wayfarer 😉 Sorry that Flame in the Mist has been meh so far- I have sadly been hearing that a lot, and it keeps getting pushed wayyyy down on my TBR because I don’t feel like being disappointed at the moment.

Hehe it was fun chatting with you about the islands! I still haven’t decided. I’ve selected a week on Oahu so far but we also want to go to Big Island and Maui.
Oh yay! Hawaii – that’s where I went on my honeymoon as well (this time last year I was there) – I loved Maui and Kauai the best out of the islands but if you go to the big island to see the volcano, make sure you at least bring a hoodie, it always rains (and no one told me!).
I knew my husband was a keeper when I went to my first ever Barnes and Noble in Maui and said I could treat myself to as many books as I wanted as a wedding present, a very dangerous proposition. We posted the 20 or so books back to Australia which wasn’t cheap but I have some beautiful hardcovers and some paperbacks that are hard to get here.
Remember to breathe and to try to actually enjoy the experience of wedding planning, I let myself get so stressed (it was an interstate wedding which added to the experience) and now I wished I just enjoyed it more – everyone said it will go so quickly and as cliche as that is, it really does!
Ohhh thanks Jade! We haven’t planned out which islands we are staying yet so that definitely is helpful! Yes I’m definitely going to go and visit a B&N when I’m down there too, that sounds like a dream come through!
Yeah, I was really stressed at the start of the year, but now as it edges closer I think I’m more relaxed because it’s all falling into place finally.
Your engagement photos are so cute, I love them 🙂 Hope you have a wonderful honeymoon in Hawaii, I am sure it will be awesome. I’d love to go there sometime.
I haven’t read a lot of books lately either, so I am trying to catch up a bit and read 3 in 3 days over the long weekend. I’ve read two so far, so going good.
And thanks heaps for the awesome giveaway.
Hehe thanks Rochelle! I’m excited about it and planning it out as always hehe. Wow you read really fast, I’ve only finished 1 book and about to finish another.
Wow Hawaii – so lucky. I went there on my honeymoon too and it was lovely 🙂 Love your photos too, they are so sweet 🙂
Oh my gosh, that sounds like you had a great time! I’m glad you recommend it.
Ohhh this is such great news about Hawaii! I bet you’ll have a fabulous time there 🙂
Have a lovely month, and Happy reading, Jeann! 🙂
