I’m officially on hiatus
With less than a month to go until the wedding (the date is 17 September 2017), I’m officially on hiatus to destress and mentally prepare for the big day! Wedding planning is the most stressful thing I’ve ever done in my life, and I’m glad that it only happens (*typically*) once. I’ve had so many nervous breakdowns from all the stress of dealing with suppliers and the weight of this massive event that is upon your shoulders.
The good thing is that we’re nearing the end of preparations and we’re finally looking forward to the big day, rather than stressing about all the things we have to do! At this point I’m so over the preparations that I just want it to be here already. Not long to go now, and I can’t wait to enjoy the day with my friends, family and of course my partner.
Then after the wedding, we have a few days at work before we head off on our honeymoon in Hawaii! We’ll be there for three weeks visiting three islands per week, Oahu, Big Island and Maui. I honestly cannot wait to jump on the plane and just chill out on a beach!
Anyway, I’m going to be taking a break on all of my social media channels, aside from prescheduled posts. You’ll see some scheduled reviews pop up but it will be over to Aila and Jenna until the end of October. I’ll see you guys on the flipside!

I am glad you’re finally winding down with the preparations and starting to just get excited about it. I need to read Genie Lo too, and I want to read The Others series too, everyone loves it so much! Wreck sounds quite interesting, too! WAIT. Who the heck compares Darkest Corners to Dangerous Girls!!? I liked both, but I also don’t think they’re really anything alike? (And DG was wayyy more intense, IMO.)
