YAY it’s my birthday today! For the Australia Day long weekend, we went and stayed at a farm in Maleny (a small country town in Queensland). It was so peaceful and relaxing waking up to incredible mountain views, fresh air and horses neighing outside our window!
It was the first time we took Toby out as well and he had lots of fun running around the countryside. I don’t think he’s ever had that much exercise, and he did incredibly well on the drive up too.
We also went walking at the Mary Caincross Reserve which is a rainforest with lots of protected wildlife and trees. We saw a little wallaby species which they call pademelon, it was so cute!
Other than bush walking, relaxing with Toby and eating delicious food, we didn’t do that much. I had a great time and it’s definitely rejuvenating for the soul!
